Exhibition Hall of Machakhela National Park Visitor Cente
A part of the exhibition is dedicated to the physical geographical description of Machakhela National Park; The information about the geological structure of Machakheli gorge; Geological samples; Soil information and soil samples; Information about the climate of the valley, the vertical zoning of the valley and the vegetation cover; Information on insects, fish, mammals and birds; Entomological material is presented; Medicinal plants and their herbarium; And personally, I reckon that one of the most beautiful parts of the exhibition will be the copies of fruits and flowers.
The second part of the exhibition is dedicated to the history, culture and ethnography of Machakheli gorge. A separate corner is arranged for the presentation of the beekeeping in the valley; Information about agriculture, handicrafts and holidays is given and most importantly, the exposition presents the pride of Machakheli gorge - Machakhela flintflock rifle, which in addition to being a copy of the original preserved in the Kutaisi State Historical Museum, is made by a local craftsman in Machakheli gorge and underlines the authenticity of the area.
The exhibition uses both mechanical and digital interactive elements and sound effects. The visitors can get information about ecosystem services, tourist trails and plan a very interesting, tasty and adventurous trip to the valley.
