Audio Options (Render Logic)

Audio Tab - Audio Options (Render Logic)

The Audio Options section in the Audio tab of Tsvaro Slideshow Studio defines how the selected audio track is treated during final video rendering. These options control the relationship between audio length and slideshow duration and determine whether the audio is looped, trimmed, or faded out.

This logic is applied only at render time. Preview playback and render behavior are intentionally separated so that you can experiment freely without unexpected side effects in the final output.

Fit images duration to audio

When Fit images duration to audio is enabled, the total duration of the slideshow is automatically adjusted to match the selected audio length.

  • The duration of each image is recalculated so that all images together fit exactly within the audio duration.
  • No manual image duration value is required when this option is active.
  • This option is commonly used for music-driven slideshows.

If this option is disabled, image duration is controlled by the timing settings in the Settings + Render tab, and audio handling follows the rules described below.

Audio looping

Audio looping determines what happens when the selected audio segment is shorter than the total slideshow duration.

  • If looping is enabled, the audio repeats as many times as needed to cover the full video length.
  • The loop is seamless and applies only during rendering.

This is useful when working with short ambient tracks or background music that should continuously play throughout the slideshow.

Audio trimming

If the selected audio segment is longer than the slideshow duration:

  • The audio is automatically trimmed to match the video length.
  • No additional user action is required.

This ensures that the rendered video never exceeds the intended slideshow duration.

Fade-out at the end

The Fade-out option applies a gradual volume reduction at the end of the audio track.

  • The fade-out duration is defined in seconds.
  • Fade-out is applied only at render time.
  • This helps avoid abrupt audio endings.

Fade-out is especially recommended when audio is trimmed or looped to ensure a smooth and professional-sounding finish.

Preview vs render behavior

It is important to understand the difference between preview playback and final rendering:

  • Preview playback reflects selection and playback controls, not full render logic.
  • Looping and fade-out are applied during rendering, not during simple preview playback.

This separation ensures fast previews while keeping final output predictable and consistent.

Summary of render rules

  • If audio is shorter than the slideshow and looping is enabled → audio loops.
  • If audio is longer than the slideshow → audio is trimmed.
  • If fit-to-audio is enabled → image durations adapt to audio length.
  • If fade-out is enabled → audio ends smoothly.

These rules ensure that audio and visuals always remain synchronized and that the final video produced by Tsvaro Slideshow Studio behaves consistently across different project types.
